Why choose us?

Abbey Park School is an excellent educational setting to study in. We deliver a first class education, with exceptional staff nurturing each student to reach their full potential.

As a member of The Park Academies Trust and rising results year on year, our popularity has increased, which means we are now over-subscribed in a number of year groups. Admissions to the school are co-ordinated by Swindon Local Authority. To apply for a place at our school, follow the link below and submit the online application. We do have limited spaces available in years 9, 10 and 11. To apply for a place, please complete the form… and send to…[missing content]

Year 6 to Year 7 Transition

We provide an excellent transition package for new Yr6 students who join the school in September. This includes visits from primaries for events such as our languages day, maths and English challenges, Literature Festival events and opportunities to use our range of learning facilities. Our staff and students also visit our feeder primaries to familiarise themselves with the students in the community. In particular our Head of Yr7 and SENDCo meet with primary teachers to ensure we are aware of the needs of all students before their arrival at Abbey Park in order appropriate support is in place. In early July all Yr6 all students who have opted for Abbey are invited for three days of transition where they orientate their way around the school, experience a range of lessons and to familiarise themselves with expectations.
